storyboard: Welcome to Storyboard
An introduction to Tumblr’s new home for community features.
All y’all with-it Tumblrers are surely up to speed on storyboard, but we wanted to weigh in with a reblog of this kickoff video because Storyboard is reported / edited by our dear old friend, the mega-talented Jessica Bennett. She’s the bespectacled star of this intro video, which we loved, not least because Bennett got to say her favorite word in the whole entire English language five times (AND GOT PAID FOR IT).
Jessica Bennett: F-bomb hustler, Tumblr gumshoe, Storyboard pioneer. Count us in.

thirdwavefashion: Watch Out Wednesday
Kaleidoscope: Fashion Inspired
Kaleidoscope is the latest fashion startup to watch out for. The app launched on the iPhone this past weekend and is also available on Android. Kaleidoscope is a fashion app that allows users to immediately shop the looks that are featured on the app, which include street, blog, runway, and editorial content. Kaleidoscope was founded last year by Ryan Junee and Max Skibinsky under parent company Inporia.
The app is introducing a new way to discover fashion, and shop on a mobile device. In a WWD article, director of business development, Sarah Kunst, described the idea behind the fashion app: “You’re giving users fashion inspirations and a way to think about dressing and try a new outfit or something new. But brands will be able to do it in a way that inspires people to buy their clothes.” This past weekend at Coachella, Kaleidoscope partnered with Details Magazine, adding men’s looks to the app. The Guardian just listed Kaleidoscope as a “must download app” so download Kaleidoscope and check it out!
You can also follow Kaleidoscope on Facebook and check out their themed boards on Pinterest!

Trendabl, a new iPhone app launching today, aims to create a social network similar to Instagram and Twitter that’s tailored specifically to fashion. Trendabl is a photo-sharing platform on which users take a picture or upload an image from their library and post it to the Trendabl network, tagging it according to label, price, retail availability and so forth.
“The easiest way to think about it is Instagram, but for fashion,” said Alagem, founder.via WWD.com

WWW. 16th Aprilshopghost.comIt was only a matter of time, right?
Stevie Dance of RUSSH fame has unveiled her own online zine Shop Ghost, a destination that aims to ‘curate’ the online shopping experience.
Based out of New York, the former RUSSH editor has already posted three rather impressive features including a lengthy profile on Tommy Ton who discusses his enviable shopping habits.
But for fans of Stevie’s past work, Shop Ghost will patch up that little hole in our hearts that was initially dug when she left the Aussie fashion magazine. Taking her trademark, brilliantly-laid out collages away with her (no offence to the current team but this chick’s offbeat taste is tough to emulate), Ms Dance has returned with a virtual version of the magazine’s standout feature. SHOP GHOST DOES COOL COLLAGES!

A pink-haired Mossy and images by Marc Jacobs’ superstar go-to snapper Juergen Teller offer the site’s first perve-worthy edition. Hanging by a moment for the next…
Spread the word.
